The pet care industry is reaching a new economic milestone. The global market for grooming services, valued at $7.34 billion in 2025, is expected to reach $11.62 billion by 2031, supported by an annual growth rate of 7.96%. This growth is driven by the widespread humanization of pets, now considered full-fledged family members. In the United States, where 66% of households own a pet, spending on care and boarding already reached $13 billion in 2024. This trend is driving a premiumization of the sector, transforming simple washing into a wellness experience that includes massages and organic treatments.
The industry is also reinventing its distribution models. The rise of mobile grooming at home and the widespread adoption of monthly subscription systems now provide service providers with recurring revenue, while integrating canine hygiene into a sustainable health routine.
