Terms of Use

Clause No. 1 – Object

The general terms and conditions of sale described below set out the rights and obligations of S.A.S EC PRESSE, located at 50 Voie Aurélienne • CS10498 • 83704 Saint-Raphaël Cedex • France, and its client referred to as the "Buyer" in connection with the Buyer’s registration for the CosmoPet International Congress. Any service provided by S.A.S EC PRESSE implies the Buyer’s full and unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.

Clause No. 2 – Price

Registration fees are those in effect on the date the order is placed. They are stated in euros and calculated excluding taxes. Accordingly, applicable VAT at the time of the order will be added. S.A.S EC PRESSE reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, it undertakes to charge the service ordered at the prices indicated at the time the order is recorded.

Clause No. 3 – Discounts and Rebates

The prices offered include any discounts or rebates that S.A.S EC PRESSE may grant, taking into account the Buyer’s assumption of certain services.

Clause No. 4 – Early Payment Discount

No discount will be granted for early payment.

Clause No. 5 – Payment Terms

Orders may be paid by:

  • Check;

  • Credit card;

  • Bank transfer.

At the time of order registration, the Buyer must pay the total invoice amount upon receipt to confirm their registration. For payments by foreign checks, any bank charges incurred will be the sole responsibility of the Buyer.

Clause No. 6 – Late Payment

Payment terms are 45 days from the invoice date. For payments by bank transfer or check, if payment is not received within 15 days after the legal payment deadline, the registration will be canceled.

Clause No. 7 – Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L. 121-20 of the French Consumer Code, the Buyer has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days to exercise their right of withdrawal without providing any reason or incurring any penalty. The period starts from the acceptance of the offer and the Buyer’s registration date.

The right of withdrawal may be exercised by contacting the Company as follows:

If the right of withdrawal is exercised within the above-mentioned period, only the price of the purchased registration(s) will be refunded within a maximum of 30 days after the request date. Refunds are made by bank check or bank transfer.

Clause No. 8 – Cancellation

Any cancellation or refund request must be submitted in writing to the Congress Secretariat: alexandra.bibaut@expression-cosmetique.fr.

Clause No. 9 – Force Majeure

S.A.S EC PRESSE shall not be held liable for non-performance or delay in the performance of any of its obligations under these general terms and conditions of sale if caused by a case of force majeure. Force majeure refers to any external, unforeseeable, and irresistible event within the meaning of Article 1148 of the French Civil Code.

Clause No. 10 – Competent Court

Any dispute relating to the interpretation or execution of these general terms and conditions of sale is subject to French law. Failing an amicable resolution, the dispute will be brought before the Commercial Court of Paris.
