Purina is launching a supplement for dogs with sensitive skin

Nestlé’s subsidiary dedicated to animal nutrition is launching Pro Plan Veterinary Supplements Skin Care, an over-the-counter supplement designed for dogs with sensitive skin. Developed by its veterinarians and researchers, it combines collagen, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, vitamin E, and zinc to support the skin barrier and boost immunity. Available online and at veterinary clinics in two sizes (30 and 60 soft chews), this product aims to hydrate the skin and soothe reactions related to seasonal allergies. Purina recommends pairing this nutritional support with proper hygiene, a balanced diet, and rigorous parasite control.
